Imperative sentence is a sentence that is used


to command, ask, warn/ prohibit people
Subject in Imperative
You will notice that the imperative form of the
verb usually hasn’t any subject. We
sometimes say that the subject of the
command is you (understood). In imperative
there is generally no subject
Punctuation

The common punctuation that is used in


imperative is exclamatory mark (!)
Verbal
We use verbal 1 (based form) to express about
imperative. It is usually capitalized because it
is placed at the first.
Imperative
1. Please take off your shoes and lie down.
2. Please unbutton your shirt and loosen your belt.
3. Please take off your trousers.
4. Please lie on your back (stomach, right side, left
side).
5. Please bend your knees.
