Legal Basis of School-Based
Child Protection Policy
DepED Order No. 55, s. 2013 Implementing Rules
and Regulations (IRR) of R.A. 10627 otherwise
known as the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 entitled “An
Act Requiring All Elementary and Secondary Schools
to Adopt Policies to Prevent and Address the Acts of
Bullying in their Institutions.”

Effectivity – 15 days after publication on official


gazette or newspaper. Published on December 19,
2013 in Manila Times/Business Mirror. Effective
January 3, 2014.
