Comparative Analysis of Texture

and Tensile Strength Between

Commercially Available Paper &
Paper Made Out of Musa
paradisiaca (banana) Bark Fibers
ABRIHAN, GAOR, GUTIZA, MANANSALA,
YOUNG
This study focuses on the textural and tensile strengthening effects
of Musa paradisiaca. It aims to comply with the following goals:

• To determine the significant difference between the

tensile strength of banana paper and the ordinary paper
made from wood pulps.

• To assess the difference of texture between the

banana paper from the ordinary paper.
The researchers control and measure their variables under
study by the following conducted hypotheses:

• There is no significant difference between the tensile

strength of commercially produced paper and paper
produced from the bark of Musa paradisiaca.

• There is no significant difference between the texture

of commercially produced paper and paper produced
from the bark of Musa paradisiaca.
