Do Not Make the Slides Full of Paragraphs
• There are many ways to create effective visuals. One way to create an
effective visual is to not over crowd the slides. When presenting a
power point presentation, one has to make sure that there are not
too many words on the slide. This makes the audience feel very
overwhelmed. Additionally it may also cause the audience to not be
able to focus on what the speaker is saying because they are either
trying to copy down what the slide says or read it.
• Slides that are over-crowded can be very distracting to the
audience. When presenting the power point to the
audience the speaker can elaborate and expand on the
bullets written on the slides rather than writing bulleted
paragraphs.
