2A’S ELECTRONICS

SALES AND
INVENTORY
SYSTEM
THE CURRENT
SYSTEM
2A’s Electronics, offers an extensive selection of
electronics parts and general supplies for your next
electronics project. The store is located at Locsin St.
San Carlos City, which is managed by Mary Jane
Dulocanog and Ariel Ortega.
number of sold items to the remaining stocks in the
inventory.
Like some other stores, the business does their
physical counting of stocks and their sales reports
manually. They are only using a manual system that
may cause duplication of documents and work
redundancy.
The business depends on their manual listing of
products and inputs of data which is possible to
commit errors. They have more than 4 employees to
cater their customers’ needs. The owners were the one
who conduct sales report and their employees will do
the inventory that will lead to a high risk of inaccuracy.
There are also instances that they were not able to
issue receipts to their customers resulting to some
problems on their inventory. The business can’t view
their proper records of sales or income in a given time
of the year. Records don’t coincide with number of sold
items to the remaining stocks in the inventory.
THE PROPOSED
SYSTEM
The proponents aim to resolve and satisfy 2A’s
electronics current needs. A small business like 2A’s
Electronics operates most efficiently when its
processes are executed in a consistent manner. By
using computerized sales and inventory system, the
business would have greater accuracy in stocking and
product management. The owners must reconcile
each sales receipt with every piece of physical
inventory and this can be a daunting and time-
consuming task. One of the many benefits in using this
proposed system is that it is time saving. It speeds up
transactions while raising accuracy and consistency.
Manually counting inventory, updating of records, and
creating reports can result in an error because of
miscounting the number of goods or forgetting to
record some transactions or simply miscount the
number of goods. For one's turn, the automated
inventory control system helps the business reduce the
risk of errors.
