WHAT IS STRESS ?
•It’s a emotional or physical
reaction in our body.
•It’s a best way of
responding to any kind of
demand.
•It can be caused by both
good and bad experiences.
TYPES OF STRESS
• PHYSICAL STRESS
• Symptoms or Signs :--
1. Poor appetite or overeating.
2. Various aches and pain like
headache , Muscle pain, body
pain.
3. Sleep problems.
4. (Because of lowering of immunity
due to stress.)
MENTAL STRESS
Symptoms or Signs:--
1. Nervousness and Anxiety.
2. Excessive anger or
depression.
3. Being upset easily.
4. Poor Self confidence, Lack
of concentration.
5. Poor performance on
studies.
SO WHAT TO DO OVERCOME STRESS
• Making little changes in your life can really add up to a
big feeling of relief.
• Learn to recognize when you are feeling stressed and
simple ways you can relax.
• Take a break. Have a cold drink, get some fresh air, or
close your eyes for a minute to refocus.
• Stay positive to help friends and family cope with
stress.
• Let others know you're feeling overwhelmed and tell
them how they can help.
• Allow yourself to simply say "no" to friends and family
when you know you cannot meet their demands without
becoming overwhelmed.
SO LET’S SEE PROBLEMS THAT GIVE
YOU STRESS
1. Too much homework
2. A heavy workload
3. Lack of Organization
4. Upcoming tests
5. Busy schedule
6. Poor sleep schedule

STRESS MANAGEMENT PLAN
• Practice time management
• Learn relaxation exercises.
• Rehearse and practice
situations.
• Learn practical coping skills.
• Decrease negative self talk.
• Learn to feel good with a
workable result – Don’t be a
perfectionist.
• Build a network of friends.
