 Course Description

Phonology is the course about the basic phonetics and phonology and
focusing on articulatory phonetics like point of articulation, manner of
articulation and voiced and voiceless sounds.
This course is aimed at providing the students with basic knowledge of
phonetics and phonology as the basic skills for acquiring fluency and
accuracy in English as a foreign language
 Course Objectives
After completing this course, the students are expected to be able to:
1. Acquire basic understanding of technical terms in phonetics and
phonology.
2. Master and have a good control of phonetics and phonology particularly
those the basic ones.
