Development Delay
A developmental delay? Children develop and mature at different rates. A developmental
delay is when a child takes longer to reach developmental milestones than other children.
This could be in areas such as moving, learning, talking or behaving.
Developmental Evaluation: The developmental evaluation should be conducted by a
highly trained professional who can use the results to create a profile of your child’s
strengths and weaknesses. The evaluation needs to look at five developmental areas.

Hyperactivity
Hyperactivity is a state of being unusually or abnormally active. Hyperactivity is often

deficit hyperactivity disorder.
