 Groups –more than two employees who have ongoing
relationship in which they interact and influence one another
behaviour and performance .The behaviour of individuals in
groups is something more than the sum total of each acting in
his or her own way .A formal group is set up by the
organization to carry out work in support of the organization’s
goals.

 Primary groups –are small groups and involve strong emotional attachments.

 Secondary groups-are larger and more impersonal.

Teenagers who join youth groups and
other clubs are happier and less
likely to drink .
 Teenagers who belong to youth groups and other clubs lead happier
lives and are less likely to drink or smoke .
 By joining groups and clubs youth develop their personalities
 They might be learn on how to be a responsible in their roles

like-minded peers and positive adult role models other than your parents.
-Interacting and cooperating wit other adults encourages you to see the world
in different ways.

-Young people are busy working out who they are and where they fit in the
world.
-Being involved in community activities can give you a positive way of
understanding who you are.

-Community activities give you the chance to apply the skills you already have.
-Voluntary work and community activities are also great opportunities to show
initiative and develop skills to get job.

-You can learn to deal with challenges, communicate with different people and
build up your life skills and abilities in a supportive environment.
