* Unintended pregnancy (early pregnancy,
teens,under 18)
* Single parent adoption ( orphans)
* Death (one of the parent)
* “Choice mom” single mom who seek to get
pregnant so they seek an anonymous or also
known as sperm donor

* Poverty
* Academic achievement ( long working
hours,less time for them, they become hard
to control,didn’t care for studies)
* Self-esteem and confidence (may blame
themselves for the situation)
* Emotional problems – long for mom/dad
affection. Compare themselves with their
peers

* More time alone when the child is with the
other parent. (divorce parent who agreed on
child custody)
* No compromises as you became the sole
decision maker.
* Less stress (when you didn’t spend your time
and energy fighting with your spouse, you
feel happier. Thus, less stress at home and
you get to worry about what matters for your
child.
