will be comforted.

inherit the land.
 Blessed are they who hunger and
thirst for righteousness, for they will
be satisfied.
 Blessed are the merciful, for they will
be shown mercy.
 Blessed are the clean of heart, for
they will see God.
 Blessed are the peacemakers, for
they will be called children of God.
 Blessed are they who are persecuted
for the sake of righteousness, for
theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The Devil’s Beatitudes
*Happy are those who are too tired, too busy,
too distracted to spend an hour once a week with
their fellow Christians in Church. They are my
best workers.
*Happy are those Christians who wait to be
asked and expect to be thanked. I can use them.
*Happy are the touchy, with a bit of luck they
may stop going to church. They are my
missionaries.
*Happy are those who are very religious but get
on everyone’s nerves. They are mine forever.
*Happy are the troublemakers. They shall be
called my children.
*Happy are those who have no time to pray.
They are easy prey for me.
*Happy are the gossipers. For they are my secret
agents.
*Happy are those critical of church leadership.
For they shall inherit a place with me in my
kingdom.
*Happy are the complainers. I’m all ears to them.
*Happy are you when you read this and think it
is about other people and not yourself. I’ve got
you!
