Statement of the problem
• This study aims to identify the level of confidence in public speaking in relation to
gender of grade 11 and 12 Humanities and Social Sciences Student of Senior High
School within Sapang Biabas Resettlement Elementary School.
• It seeks to answer the following.
1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of gender?
2. What is the level of confidence of grade 11 and 12 students in public speaking?
3. Is there significant relationship between level of confidence and gender difference in
public speaking?
Scope and Delimitation
• The study focuses on the level of confidence of grade 11 and 12 Humanities and
Social Science Students who are currently enrolled as of 1st semester school year
2019 in relation to public speaking. Also the limits of this study is on Humanities
and Social Sciences Students of Senior High School within Sapang Biabas
Resettlement Elementary School only.

Research Design
• ccording to Matthews & Ross (2010) quantitative research methods
are basically applied to the collection of data that is structured and
which could be represented numerically.Correlational research will be
use to seek the relationship of this two variables namely Level of
Confidence and Public speaking among Senior High School Student in
SHS within SBSHS.According to (Bhat),Correlational reasearch is a
type of non-experimental research method, in which a researcher
measures two variables, understands and assess the statistical
relationship between them with no influence from any unrelevant
variable.

1. Making an eye contact to my audience while speaking.
2. Speaking infront of people
3. Standing in front of People.
4. Using hand gestures to support what I'm trying to say.
5. Using of tone to emphasize what I'm trying to say.
6. Reciting a speech.
7. Making an impromptu speech without any stuttering.
8. Standing in front of People without my feet shaking.
9. Making sure my audience will understand what I'm saying.
10. Making my speech look natural to my audiences.
