Engage in policy practice


BEHAVIOR ONE

Identify social policy at the local, state, and federal level that impacts wellbeing, service delivery,

and access to services.

I will help locate local, state, and federal level resources that implement and identify social

policy for all students, parents, and families at Anson High School. Some examples of those

being WIC, NC free college application week, FAFSA, and more.


BEHAVIOR TWO

Assess how social welfare and economic policies impact the delivery of and access to social

services.

I work with students to help get them connected with the appropriate social services and

accessibility available to them such as, Department of social services, health department,

domestic violence and more.


BEHAVIOR THREE

Apply critical thinking to analyze, formulate, and advocate for policies that advance human

rights and social, economic, and environmental justice.

By using my advocacy project this will help formulate and design a new way of parent

communication with the school, and it will also give the students a reminder as well. Also

making this online will help increase the parents who read and receive this.
