BEHAVIOR ONE

Use practice experience and theory to inform scientific inquiry and research.

Interning at a public school, one way that I use practice experience and theory to inform

scientific inquiry and research is by defining gaps in the Anson County School district,

specifically the high school here.


BEHAVIOR TWO

Apply critical thinking to engage in analysis of quantitative and qualitative research method and

research findings.

Developing my advocacy project to better fit the needs of staff and students at Anson high

school. A parent newsletter that could be accessed online was both a new way of

communication from staff to parents, but also a reminder for students to check as well.
BEHAVIOR THREE

Use and translate research evidence to inform and improve practice, policy, and service

delivery.

I used this behavior when conducting research to develop my advocacy project. Finding out the

needs of the school and developing a project that benefits not only staff, but students and their

parents as well.
