BEHAVIOR ONE
Use practice experience and theory to inform scientific inquiry and research.
Interning at a public school, one way that I use practice experience and theory to inform
scientific inquiry and research is by defining gaps in the Anson County School district,
Apply critical thinking to engage in analysis of quantitative and qualitative research method and
research findings.
Developing my advocacy project to better fit the needs of staff and students at Anson high
school. A parent newsletter that could be accessed online was both a new way of
communication from staff to parents, but also a reminder for students to check as well.
BEHAVIOR THREE
Use and translate research evidence to inform and improve practice, policy, and service
delivery.
I used this behavior when conducting research to develop my advocacy project. Finding out the
needs of the school and developing a project that benefits not only staff, but students and their
parents as well.
