 INTRODUCTION TO CISCO
In 1984 Computer scientists, Len Bosack and Sandy Lerner from Standford University,
found Cisco System .They invent this technology to link their computer system together.
• They pioneered the concept of a local area network (LAN) being used to connect
geographically disparate computer over a multiprotocol router System..
• Cisco System, inc. is the worldwide leader in networking for the internet . Today
networks area essential part of business ,education ,government and home
communication ,and Cisco internet protocol-based(IP) networking solution are the
foundation of these networks.
• Cisco develops, manufactures and sells networking hardware, telecommunications
equipment and other high-technology services and products.
• Cisco hardware, software, and service offering are used to create internet solution that
allow individuals, improve customer satisfaction and strengthen competitive advantage.
