Internet- is a worldwide
network of computers. It
is an interconnection of
large and small networks
around the globe.
Online tools include the
following: blogs or microblogs,
collaborative tools, discussion
forums, social networking
sites, virtual worlds, and online
databases.
The evolution of the web is
described as: Web 1.0 as one-
way web (the mostly read-only
web), Web 2.0 as an interactive
web (the wildly read-write web),
and Web 3.0 as an immersive
web (the wildly write-read web).
Based from the online article
of the Living Internet, the key
features of the web in
particular are its ease of use,
universal accessibility, and
search capability.
Multimedia is used mainly for
education, entertainment,
business communication, and
public consumption. This is
through the use of different
multimedia tools and
applications online or offline.

sounds, pictures and
text in nonelectronic

information recorded in the waves
into a more flexible format, namely,
digitized code that can be
transferred across a variety of
devices, like computers, internet
systems, digital cameras, and more.
•Interactive multimedia is the
means to interact with these
media typically with a computer

immersive multimedia which is a
technology that replicates an
environment, real or imagined. It
stimulates physical presence that
allows user interaction. It also creates
sensory experience that can include
sight, hearing, touch and smell.
•Web 4.0 is about “ the
ultra-intelligent electron
agent” This agent will
“recognize you when
you get infront of it..
