L
La Libertad
The City of Eternal Spring; is the
city where one of the most elegant

was founded: the graceful Marinera
Norteña. The exquisite colonial
architecture of its capital city,
Trujillo, makes every corner a scene
worthy of a postcard.
The Trujillo experience is made
complete by beautiful beach resorts

fare bursting with the flavors of the
sea (Ceviche Peruano).

originally extending over more than 20 km2 from Huanchaco
Port to the Campana hills. Archaeologists believe that it housed
over 100,000 workshops, streets, walls and pyramid-shaped
temples. Its massive walls are decorated with geometric
figures, stylized animals and mythological creatures.
