• A group of anonymous ethical employees of Infosys raised complaints against the

management for unethical practices
• It is said to be done to boost their revenues
• The anonymous employees have e-mails and voice recordings to support / prove their
claim
• They have raised allegations against the CEO Salil Parekh and CFO Nilanjan Roy.
• The US SEC (Security Exchange Commission) is
probing allegations against the company.

• Indian market regulator SEBI has requested for

additional information on this matter
• The whistleblowers complaints has brought into
light the distressing unethical practices that have
been committed by the senior most executives

• There are stringent laws to protect the

whistleblowers that came into being in 2014
(due to the unfortunate death of several
whistleblowers)
• Infosys is currently examining the charges that have
been made

• The whistleblower complaint has been placed

before the Audit Committee as per the companies
practice

• Infosys will deal with it in accordance with the

companies whistleblowers policy

• The charges wiped out more than 7 billion off the

companies market value in one day
