Introduction

Serve the purpose of safety, especially for Women

Integration of Hardware (The Band) and Software (Mobile

Application). An automated device which doesn’t require
physical contact to operate

To develop a reliable and easy to use device which

doesn’t compromise on safety features.
OBJECTIVES

 To create and develop a safety device for women in our society

 To develop a reliable and easy to use device which doesn’t
compromise on safety features.
 An automated device which doesn’t require physical contact to
operate
 The product serves to boost the confidence of women providing them
with all around safety.
Proposed Solution
 Use temperature, pulse rate and body tremors as triggers to decide an
alert situation of the victim
 The values received from all the three sensors will be checked
according to clinically correlated threshold values(to certify a distress
state of the user)
 The signal will be sent to a mobile application in the user’s phone
 The application on receiving the signal will ultimately send the user’s
location with an alert message to the predefined contacts.

Methodology

 The three sensors - Pulse rate sensor(TCRT100),NTC thermistor,

Accelerometer(MPU 6050) are interfaced with Teensy 3.2 ARM cortex
board and the values are evaluated at an interval of half a second.
 On satisfying the testing conditions the microcontroller sends an alert
to the mobile phone using HC-05 BT module and starts the buzzer.
 A mobile phone application(Android studio) sends the current location
of the user to the predefined contacts using SMS.
