1 WOMEN SECURITY APP

INTRODUCTION

Most female these days have smartphone with them, so it is essential to have at least one personal safety
apps installed. This is a user friendly app that can be availed by anyone who has it installed . The app offers
you the quickest and easiest way to contact your nearest help. The user needs to fill in three contact
numbers, in case of trouble on shaking the phone up and down thrice, the system alerts the numbers fed into
the system with the location by sending an SMS.

PROBLEM DEFINITION

Women's safety involves strategies, practices and policies which aim to reduce gender-based violence (or
violence against women), including women's fear of crime. Women's safety involves safe spaces. Space is
not neutral. Space which causes fear restricts movement and thus the community's use of the space.

OBJECTIVE

 As an independent nation, we must ensure respect and security of women and we

cannot deny them this basic right.
 It is now time to initiate action to eradicate the menance of security issue with
women.
 Violence against women remains embedded in our societies, both as a daily reality and
difficult situations.
 Comparing to existing computerized system, our system is gives more security and
also system gives better user friendly environment for the users.
 When she press sos button the mobile this system will sends message to the all nearby
cells which having that application.
 This system also send message to graudian. Also our system sends alert message to
graudian.

PROPOSED METHODOLOGY
This project includes five modules and is listed below:
1. Authentication
2. Add Emergency Contacts
3. Add Personal Information
4. Change personal Information
5. Sending SMS

A. Authentication:

Authentication module contains all the information about the authenticated

Person. Authentication is

the process of verifying the identity of a Person by obtaining some sort of

credentials and using those credentials

to verify theu users‟ identity. If the credentials are valid, the authorization
process starts. Authentication process

always proceeds to Authorization process. User without her username and

password can‟t enter into the login. If

she is only the authenticated Person, then she can enter into her login.

B. Add Emergency Contacts:

In this module user add the Emergency Contacts. It contains information

about the Id, Name, Mobile

Number1 and Mobile Number2. The Emergency Contacts are stored in the
database and retrived when an

emergency message needs to be sent.

C. Add Personal Information:

In this module user enters the Personal Information. It contains information
about the Id, Name, Mobile

Number, email id and address. The Personal Information is stored in the

database.

D. Change Personal Information:

In this module the user can her change or update the Personal Information.
It changes can be done to

information like Name, Mobile Number, email Id, Address. The changed
personal information gets updated in

the database.

E. Sending SMS Information:

It is the core module of this application. In this module the women safty
feature is added. This app is

activated by a single click by the women whenever she feels that she is in a
stranded situation. A single click on

this app identifies the location of the place through GPS and sends a
message comprising this location URL to

the registered emergency contacts and to the nearest police station

immediately and to carry out the rescue

Front end : html5, css3, bootstrap

Back end : php, mysql

Control end : angular java script

SUMMARY:
This app can be activated by a single click when the user feels she is in danger. This application communiqués
the user's location to the registered contacts for every few seconds in the form of message. Thus, it acts like a
sentinel following behind the person till the user feels she is safe.
