2.1 Process of ‘Pre-coat Filtration’

◆Form pre-coat film with filter aid on the screen surface. ↑exhaust gas clarification
Diatom earth has a flood of approx. 0.1～0.5μm of pores on its surface. The pores
capture pollution material, so it can be applied to clarification of air pollution such as
PM2.5.
◆There are many kinds of diatom earth in regard to price and pore size. With various
combination according to raw water, it is used for pre- and post- water treatment.

 2.4 Advantages of FWTS and challenges in future
2.4.1 Advantage
◆Sludge can be back to soil or treated as industrial waste with minimum volume,
so diffusion of pollution can be avoided.
◆Screen（coil, mesh, etc.）is made from SUS or plastic, etc., which will not deteriorate
easily and will be usable almost permanently.
◆Screen itself will not be waste.
2.4.3 Usage
◆Clarify effluent quality until it meets criteria, which allow the release outside.
◆Improve effluent quality to extend lifetime of filter aid (sand, active charcoal, etc.),
which will resulted in cost reduction.
◆Clarify effluent with light pollution and reuse the effluent.
◆Clarify circulation water of pool, bathhouse, etc. Clarify water in tank, pond, etc.
2.4.4 Challenging theme in future
◆FWTS is not applicable for emulsion（blood, mayonnaise, lotion, dissolved paint , etc.)
It removes suspended solid only.
◆Multi-stage-filtration system including pre-treatment will be necessary for high-
viscosity water or oily water which requires frequent reverse cleaning due to frequent
clogging, resulting in unstable output. Decomposer with ozone will be necessary for
remove ammonia or odor.

 Industrial effluent standard will be monitored strictly.
Effluent clarification is duty of plans.
Sometimes, clarification will make effluent reusable.

“Best 10 appealing devices/technologies in the exhibition” by local newspaper ‘VN Express’.

We got filled questionnaires from

We had to supply ‘FWTS brochure’
from stock for another exhibition
‘VietWater 2015’ held in November,
for prepared 300 sets of brochures
had all gone.
