 Mode of disposal of treated water:- Recycling in irrigation, horticulture, Landscaping

Treatment scheme:

1. Screening, collection, equalization and transfer of wastewater to SBR reactor.

2. Anoxic tank for denitrification before discharge into Collection tank.
3. Biological treatment of wastewater using SBR Technology.
4. Secondary Clarification of biologically treated wastewater.
5. Disinfection of treated water using sodium hypo chloride.
6. Filtration of Chlorinated treated water through DMF & ACF.
7. Reuse of treated water in horticulture & plantation & Tertiary Treatment.
ANNEXURE – II: Technical notes regarding our proposal

STP shall be compact, smell free and shall consume less power.
Bar Screen: The Bar Screens of MS material is considered in the scope for better life. Two
bar screens of 10 mm spacing followed by 8 mm spacing are considered in series. The
screens canbe easily removed & cleaned as required.

 Equalization Tank : We have proposed collection cum equalization tank in RCC

belowthe ground level. All other tanks of STP in RCC can be built fully/partly above
the groundas required. The tanks can be covered from the top, if required and access
manholes can be provided. The tank is provided with air distribution piping with
adequate number of Coarse Bubble diffusers.

 Anoxic Tank: In the denitrification process, an anoxic zone is created by using an

unaerated tank where the dissolved oxygen levels are kept below 1 mg/l and as
close to,without reaching 0 mg/ as possible. A target operating point would be
between 0.2 to
0.5 mg/l.

 SBR TANK: Sequencing batch reactors (SBR) or sequential batch reactors are a
type of activated sludge process for the treatment of wastewater. SBR reactors
treat wastewater such as sewage or output from anaerobic digesters or
mechanical biological treatment facilities in batches. Oxygen is bubbled through
the mixture of wastewater and activated sludge to reduce the organic matter
(measured as biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand
(COD)). The treated effluent may be suitable for discharge to surface waters or
possibly for use on land.

 Clarified/Clear Water Tank: The clear water from Tube Deck Media Clarifier
flows into this tank. A Sodium Hypochlorite solution is dosed in this tank using a
metering pump.

 Media Filtration & Carbon Filtration System: The clarified & Chlorinated water
is pumped to Media Filter followed by Carbon Filter to further polish the treated
effluent. The Sand filter removes the suspendedsolids and the Carbon Filter removes
color & odor.

 Sludge Collection Tank: We have proposed sludge collection tank to store the
sludge. This Sludge tank isprovided with Sludge Transfer pumps. The sludge can be
transferredto Sludge Drying Beds or the suitabledewatering systemlike Filter
press/centrifuge fordewatering the sludge. The biologically treated sludge can be
used as manure.

Our offer is exclusive of civil work, which includes tanks construction, foundation of
equipment, drains &trenches, shedding/plant room for the equipment and related MS work

All electro-mechanical equipment are proposed with standby units. Pumps, blowers shall be
operational in auto mode through level controllers, timers etc. for easier operation.
