DESIGN PARAMTERS
A. Design Data
Source of Water : Cooling Tower Recirculation Water
Backwash Freq : Once in a 24 hrs
Working hours : 24 HR Filtration operation
B. Parameter
NOTE:
1. The plant is designed on the basis of above parameter. If there is change in water
source and water quality, the plant performance will be changed.
2. Expect TSS and turbidity remaining all parameters shall be same as inlet.
ANNEXURE IV
PROCESS DESCRIPTION
MULTIGRADE FILTER
The water is passed through a Multi-grade filter to reduce the suspended solids
present in the raw water. This filter is provided to keep a check on the suspended
solids. The suspended particles in the raw water get entrapped in the filter media.
The filter will have to be washed with effluent water for 10 to 15 mins daily.
NOTE:
Inlet Water header should be near to filtration plant, not more than 2 meters.
Client need to provide water at SSF inlet @ 66 m3/hr @ 20 m Head.
NOTE:
If Side stream filter Shell & dishend thickness (10 mm Shell & 12 mm Dish) is
changed our price will be revised as per change in thickness for SSF.
Back wash will be done by Motive water i.e. inlet water.
NOTE:
Discharge piping scope is limited up outlet flange of discharge header.
Discharge header not more than 1 meter.

NOTE:
WTE shall provide MCC Panel (IP 54) for Air blower and motor only.
WTE shall provide Electrical cable From MCC to Individual motors, and
instrument cabling from Instruments to Junction Box only.
We will provide only air header with Solenoid valves JB at one point near to filter
skid. However cabling form JB to PLC in purchaser Scope.
Cabling from JB to PLC is in purchaser scope.
PLC, HMI & DCS shall be provided by Client/Purchaser.
All drawings will be provided in PDF & AutoCAD only.
Purchaser/Client need to make the proper shed to MCC panel and dosing
system Panel.
Earthing Pit shall be supplied by client. All above ground material will be
provided By WTE.
Panel will be non-Draw-out fixed Type.
We have considered STD specifications for piping, Valves, electrical and
instrumentation as per the Provided PMS. Any deviation in the same will be
having cost impact.
All Piping and fittings are considered as per PMS.
3D Modeling is excluded from WTE scope of supply.
All pumps are Non-API with Two Pole, IE2 motor.
We have considered our STD HSE requirement. Any additional HSE requirement
will have cost impact.
All TPI (Third Party Inspection) are excluded from our scope of supply.
We have considered Standard electrical specifications as per WTE standard, for
any additional requirement will cost extra.
Our Scope of supply will be strictly as above.
NOTE:
WTE considered 5 m piping for the H2So4 chemical of 98% concentration from
pipe rack of CT to Dosing tanks.
Only Pumps, Control panel is on skid and chemical dosing tank will be mounted
on Foundation.

NOTE:
Purchaser / Client need to make the proper shed for MCC panel and dosing
system Panel and dosing system.
We have considered common panel for SSF and Dosing system.
We shall provide drawings in AutoCAD only.
Instruments specified will be as per above scope of supply only, any extra
instruments will lead to price addition.
Motor for the dosing pumps shall be as per the vendor specifications
We have considered manual operation for CT Dosing system and only low-level
switches are provided in the tank to trip the pump on low level of tank.
We have considered 15 NB Piping along with its supporting to both CT basins.
Purchaser need to provide the chemicals to respective dosing tanks.
All Instruments are HART type.
9. INTERCONNECTING PIPING
NOTE :
1. WTE shall provide MCC Panel (IP 54). Electrical cable From MCC to
Individual motors and instrument cabling from Instruments to
Junction Box.
2. PLC, HMI & DCS shall be provided by Client/Purchaser.
3. Purchaser needs to provide continuous UPS supply to PLC Panel, if is
required.
4. Earthing Pit shall be supplied by client
5. Panel will be non-Draw-out fixed Type.
6. We have considered STD specifications for piping, Valves, electrical
and instrumentation as per above. Any deviation in the same will be
having cost impact.
7. All Piping and fittings are considered as per ERW pertaining to WTE
STD.
8. All drawings shall be provided only in Auto Cad Latest version. 3D
Modeling is excluded from our scope of supply.
9. All pumps are Non-API with Two Pole, IE2 motor.
10. We have considered our STD HSE requirement. Any additional HSE
requirement will have cost impact.
11. All TPI (Third Party Inspection) are excluded from our scope of supply.
12. We have considered our STD painting specifications. For additional
requirement will have cost impact.
13. QAP will be done as per WTE standards for any additional
requirement will cost extra.
14. We have considered Standard electrical specifications as per WTE
standard, for any additional requirement will cost extra

BATTERY LIMIT
A. FOR SSF
To
Based on our scope of supply, we are pleased to offer our expertise at the following
prices.
Design, Supply, supervision of Erection & Commissioning of water treatment plant is,
NOTE:
Above price is ex at your site.
Charges for supervision of erection & commissioning are Rs. 3,000.00 per day
per person Provided All travelling (Outside Pune), DA, lodging & boarding will be
in client scope.
Electrical and instrumentation support will be in purchaser scope at site.
Storage facility should be provided at site by client.
Commissioning chemicals are excluded from above price.
We have considered a same MCC panel for Dosing System and SSF filter.
ANNEXURE – X
70% on pro rata basis along with 100% taxes on proof of dispatch of
equipment against our dispatch instructions and exchange of dispatch
documents against 60 Days PDC. 60 days from the date of dispatch of
material.
3.0 Delivery:
After commercially and technically clear purchase order and the date of
Receipt of advance,
7.0 Delays :
In case the goods are made ready by WTE and inspire of repeated request user/
Customer does not take delivery by fulfilling commercial obligations, WTE has right
to do following –
a) Divert the equipment to other customer without any further prior intimation to
customer for whom the goods were originally manufactured. The cost and expenses
incurred in diverting the goods to the new customer will be covered from the
original customer for whom goods were manufactured.
b) Till the goods are diverted, additional charges will be levied the customer for
storage, insurance and interest at the rate of 1% of the invoice value of each week
or part thereof commencing 15 days from date of proforma invoice. Any additional
cost incurred for proper preservation of equipments will also be recovered from the
customer. Any item having limited shelf life and being part of the equipment will be
charged additionally to the user/ Customer.
Delays in engineering, Procurement of raw materials, manufacturing, delivery,
transport transit or during site activities, occur due to several factors over which
WTE has no control. Delay can also occur due to delay in completion of activities
within client scope, or compliance of statutoryrequirements or changes in such
requirements etc. over which WTE has no control.
Accidents, Break down in transit, or during loading unloading, erection and
handling are additional causes of delay over which WTE has no control.
WTE will make all efforts to ensure that agencies hired for the activities in scope of
WTE are reliable, However since these agencies also depends one way or other on
further external inputs outside their scope and control, WTE will not be liable to
11.0 Inspection:
If so desired by Purchaser, the goods will be offered for visual inspection only, at
our works/ our suppliers’ works. The date of inspection will be intimated by us to
client at mutually agreed date. If inspection not carried out on the date so advised,
we shall be free to dispatch the good as per terms of delivery. Purchaser can also be
present during our routine quality control test, wherever applicable, at our works,
at convenience to WTE &with prior intimation and confirmation of WTE. If
customer’s representative is not present, the test will be carried on in his absence
and the results will be binding on both the parties to contract.
12.0 Receiving and / or unpacking:
A) General comments:
1. Unpacking/ unloading is the responsibility of and must be carried out by the
client unless otherwise accepted by WTE in writing.
2. If the client requests WTE to provide Transporter’s assistance ,the client accept
that such assistance is subject to all risks and being client without recourse.
13.0 Insurance:
14.0 Advances:
Advance paid against an order shall not be subject to any interest. We shall have
right to adjust against such advances because of delay in lifting the ordered
equipments or because of any incidental expenses WTE may incur or the
purchaser’s behalf. The advance shall be forfeited in case of cancellation of order is
not accepted by us.
15.0 General Lien:
We shall be entitled to general lien on goods in our possession or dispatched for all
money due to us by the Purchaser, both under this contract or any other account.
We shall also be entitled to assign any money in our account from any contract due
to us under any other contract or contract.
16.0 Limitation of Liability:
In no event WTE shall be liable for any consequent /liquidated damages and /or
losses whatsoever, arising out of and connected with this work in any manner.
17.0 Force Majeure:
The offer is subject to ‘Force Majeure’ by which it means causes beyond our
reasonable control such as war, invasion, civil disobedience, Government orders or
restrictions, strikes, lockouts, riots, fire, earthquakes, floods, accidents, breakdown
of machinery, delay or inability to obtain labour, raw material wagons, shipping
space or any other causes whatsoever beyond our reasonable control, affecting us
or sub-contractors, suppliers etc.
18.0 Weather conditions:
Extreme weather conditions like excessive fog, rainfall, snowfall, storm, high wind
velocity etc. may suspension of work on safety grounds. All the increase in cost to
be incurred due to suspension of work will be on account of customer/client and
will have to agreed mutually on occurrence of such situation.
19.0 Warranty:
All our equipments including bought out components are thoroughly
inspected/tested before dispatch and therefore can be depended upon for long and
trouble free services. We undertake to make good loss by replacement or repair
defects arising out of faulty design, material or workmanship within 15 months
from the date of dispatches or 12 month of commissioning whichever is earlier.
20.0 Commissioning:
Commissioning service is offered at cost mentioned in the price schedule for
reasonable numbers of visits/meetings to:
a) Discuss installation details in terms of physical /technical retirements.
b) Make the user conversant with statutory requirements
c) Discuss details of in respect of power supply ,feed water & other standard
parameters
d) Ensure the installation has finally been made as recommended
e) Commission the unit for short run from the point of view of mechanical
working and to set controls as necessary
f) Conduct demonstration for the purpose of user’s education for equipment
operation and maintenance.
23.0 Arbitration:
In the event of any dispute or difference between parties arising out of contract the
same shall be settled amicably, be referred to arbitrator. The same shall be dealt
within the meaning of The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, including any
statutory re-enactment or any other modification thereof.
26.0 Jurisdiction:
All Contracts between purchaser and WTE are deemed to be entering in to India
and at Pune and are therefore, Jurisdiction of courts in India at Pune.
