Rule 2a Regular nouns ending with the letter s or es, simply put an
apostrophe after the s to show plural possession,
For eg: The parents' bedroom (the bedroom that belong to parents plus
apostrophe to show possession)

Rule 2b. Irregular nouns (child, nucleus, tooth, etc.) are nouns that
form their plurals by changing their spelling, sometimes becoming quite
different words. To show plural possession, write out the entire
irregular plural noun before adding an apostrophe or an apostrophe + s.

For eg: two children's hats (children + apostrophe + s)
