Final Project
This semester’s portfolio project has
not only taught me how to
structure data, but also informed
me of the healthcare system in
general. The numbers and data sets
I chose really opened my eyes to
the way the United States treats our
mentally ill.
In order to improve we must always
reflect on our performance.
Although I think I put the effort
forward I think that my time
management could get better. I
tend to squeeze things in, and this
project has really given me insight
into how I need to start projects
sooner.
The course outcomes that were achieved were organizing data, calculating data, collecting data, organizing
data, performing an analysis, measuring probabilities, and formulating a hypothesis.

The institutional outcomes I achieved were information literacy, rational learning, thinking abilities, quantitative
and scientific reasoning, along with career.

This was all

achieved through
the graphs we
completed, the
excel learning,
the group
discussions, and
the homework
practice. We
were able to
really use our
brains and think
about how to
accomplish these
tasks.
