President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo signed on April 10, 2007
Republic Act 9418 also known as the “Volunteer Act of 2007”
institutionalizing volunteerism as a strategy for national
development and international cooperation.

It is a collaborative effort of PNVSCA, partner volunteer


organizations and advocates of volunteerism toward providing a
conducive and enabling environment for volunteering in the
Philippines. RA 9418 was published in the Official Gazette on
June 11, 2007

(PNVSCA)
The PNVSCA shall have the following functions:
