Introduction
Background of the study

Slicing of fruits and

vegetables is important to
obtain the fine shredded
products.In the market , slice
of vegetable come in a
various shapes and sizes and
each grater has
several different blades
.Slicer machine is a
machine that can slice
easily and faster and also it
is not time consuming .
Slicing machine has
already develop in the
mid-eighties most of the
slicer can process
monocrystal with large
diameter this is what
according to( Jiang 2013).
The structure of the slicer can
be divided into two either
horizontal type or vertical type
(Jiang,2013) , which depend on
its principal shaft that is
supported by the air bearing or
rolling bearing . The slicer
composed of any kind
of hardboard , a cutter blade , a DC motor
. It is only used for household purpose so
that the work will be easier and faster . It
is also easy to carry wherever you want to
go .
The function of the slicer machine was
very complete compare to the old one . It
made of different element . It slice in
different way . One will break the veggies
or fruits and the other one is soft object
that is used to prevent the blade from
damage (Jiang , 2013).
The main purpose of the
research is to design a slicer
machine of vegetable and
fruits that is easy to carry .To
design a machine that operate
automatically and have a fine
cut of fruits or vegetables.
Statement of the Problem
This study aims to design a slicer
machine that operate automatically
.
1. Will this machine effective ?
2. Will this slicer machine can cut
the vegetable or fruits finely ?
3. Is this machine can be beneficial
Hypothesis

H : There is no significance relationship

between using slicing machine and

making the work easier

Ho2 : There is significance relationship

between using slicer machine and
making the work more easier .
Significance of the study
Learning is the best aspect of
development that connotes
modification of skills and knowledge
that results from practice and
experience which sought for quality
education .The generalization of this
study would be a great contribution to
society.
It will be beneficial to the following :
Parents
Their work would be easily and
faster compare manually slicing .
Future Researcher
They would have idea if they will
make also a slicer machine which is
they can improve it more they can
add things or anything that we are
Scope and Limitation
The factors that would encounter is
that the blade will be rust , the battery is
unable to fuction and the vegetable or
fruits will not be cut finely .

Materials
-Hardboard(any kind)
-1 DC motor
-1 Switch
-4 Cutter blades
-Wire(20amg stranded)(½m)
-Battery
-Stick glue
-Bolt
Procedure
Step1.-Cut the headboard with the
length of (3x5 inc 1pcs)(3pcs of 3x3)
and (2pcs of 3x2),

Step2-attached them together the

(3x5) will be the base next form a
room for your blade using the(3x3)
at the center of your base.
Step3- Connect your four
blades and form it into a
circular manner,
Step4- Connect the switch to the
motor using the (20 awg)wire
then attach the blade to the
motor and to the battery,
afterwards place it to the space
provided and cover it with the
remaining (3x3)piece of
hardboard,
Step5- Design the
slicer what ever you
like to make it neat
and nice to look
