JOB SATISFACTION

Introduction
Job satisfaction describes how comfortable an
individual is with his or her job. The happier
people are within their job, the more satisfied
they are said to be. Job design aims to enhance
job satisfaction and performance, methods
include job rotation, job enlargement and job
enrichment.
(Spector, 1997)“Job
satisfaction is simply
how people feel about
their jobs and different
aspects of their jobs. It is
the extent to which
people like (satisfaction)
or dislike
(dissatisfaction) their
jobs.
In this Research paper the authors have
studied some factors & their relationship was
established with job satisfaction of the
faculties.

They conducted a survey of 32 Professional

 The survey was conducted in NCR Delhi
 Pilot study was conducted wth sample size
of 30 which showed Organisational
Opportunity & Organizational prestige are
highly related with satisfaction.

 Paying the employees what they deserve as being underpaid is the
most common reason for employee dissatisfaction from job.
 Keep challenging the employees and keep setting goals for them to
achieve.
 Encourage communication between the employees and the
managers so that they know who to talk to when they have a work
related problems.
