DO'S & DONT'S
 All worker's T-shirts must be tucked-in
pants when entering the plant production
area.

 Cellphones, watches and other jewelry are


not allowed in the plant production area.

 Follow and obey all posted warning and


danger signs.
 Head caps must be worn upon entering and
during the duration of stay in the production
area.

 Loitering away and far from a workers


designated workplace is not allowed and strictly
prohibited.

 Foods and bottled drinks are not allowed to be


brought inside the production areas & offices,
and only at designated eating places and pantry.
 Always use the plant comfort rooms for
personal necessities as urinating in canals
and other areas in the plant is strictly
prohibited.

 Wash hands before and after eating and


after leaving the comfort rooms.

 Anybody under the influence of liquor will


not be allowed entry inside the plant
premises.
 All office machines, i.e. CPU's, fax machines,
copiers, printers, etc. must be unplugged from
their electrical outlets at the end of each
working day.

 Avoid stacking palleted materials, film rolls,


finished goods more than 8 feet high.

 Rolls being transferred from one place to


another must be secured by a chock, or a
stopper or 'kalso' to prevent them from rolling
and falling over.
 Riding and using the jack lifts as transport when
transferring goods and materials are not
allowed.

 Avoid accumulation of trash or waste materials


anywhere inside the production area.

 All liquid and resin spills must be removed and


cleaned immediately as this will cause slipping
accidents.
 Workers required to work on heights more than
10 feet high must wear safety harness.

 Printing cylinders, impression, nip and idler


rollers must always be handled and lifted by two
(2) persons for safety.

 Use the handrails and never run when going up


or down the stairs or ladders.
 Assume all electrical wires and connections are
'live' and always avoid direct contact on any part
of the body.

 Avoid getting near electrical transformers,


distribution panels, motors and switch gears.

 Do not use Gillette/Rubie and 'like' blades for


web cutting. Only use cutters provided for the
purpose.
 No welding & acetylene works inside the plant
premises will be started and conducted without
a hot work permit being given and issued by the
plant Safety Man.

 All outside contractors and their workers prior to


start of work must attend a safety orientation on
company rules & regulations and must be
required to sign a waiver or a statement of
undertaking.

 Biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes


segregation must always be practiced and
implemented.
 Littering and spitting are strictly prohibited
anywhere inside company premises.

 All regular employees and workers must


undergo annual medical examination.

 All employees and workers coming from a


sickness leave must present a doctors certificate
and a clearance from their immediate supervisor
before being allowed to report and resume
work.
 Employees and outside workers reporting for
work in shorts and slippers will not be allowed
entry inside company premises.

 All hand-carried luggage, packages and


backpacks being brought inside and out of
company premises will be subjected for
inspection.

 All employees and workers transferring from one


position to another, or from one department to
another must undergo a job orientation seminar
to adequately prepare him or her to the new
work assignment.
 Safety helmets must be worn by all motorcycle
riders going in or out of company premises.

 No other person will be allowed to ride forklifts


other than its assigned and authorized driver.

 Use goggles for eye protection when operating


lathe, grinding and cutting machines and
equipment.
 No lifting machines and equipment like forklifts
and chain blocks will be operated more than its
allowable rated lifting capacity.

 Use gloves when working with chemicals, but


remove your gloves before touching any part of
your body.

 Other issued PPEs must be used for your safety


protection.
 If accidently splashed with chemical, wash
off the chemical immediately.

 When working with chemicals, take a bath


and change clothing at the end of each
shift.
