Mulch Tillage
is a practice where at least 30% of the soil surface remains covered
with crop residues after tillage.
Strip Tillage
This system is also called partial-width tillage and consists of
performing tillage in isolated bands while leaving undisturbed strips
throughout the field.
Ridge Tillage
is a system in which 15- to 20-cm high permanent ridges are formed
by tillage during the second cultivation or after harvest in preparation
for the following year’s crop.
