Collocation is a word or phrase that is used or


combined with other words or phrase that sound
correct and reasonable by speakers of the
language.
Dalam bahasa Malaysia, mereka menyebut
collocation ini “Penjodoh Bilangan”, sedangkan
secara harfiah, collocation merupakan “a pair or
group of words that are habitually juxtaposed”
atau penggandengan yang karena memang
sangat umum digabung dan membentuk makna
khusus, sehingga jika diganti dengan kata yang
lain akan terasa aneh

a. Lexical collocation
Lexical collocation is collocation at the
level of word type, verb, adjective, and
preposition

B. Grammatical collocation
grammatical collocation is a collocation in
the form of grammar in sentences such as
the joining of two words consisting of
preposition and noun, verbs and adjective.
