people ate by examining the teeth and bones of
skeletones they discover. They also examine
rubbish pits for animal bones, seafood shells,
fruit seeds and other food remains for clue to
their diet.
Indus people kept cattle, pigs, sheep and
goat for food.Cows provided milk and
meat.Farmer grew fruit such as dates,grapes
and melons, and field crops such as wheat and
peas.
Harappan cities appear uniform
in culture , no great social division.
Animal importance to the culture ; toys
suggest prosperity . One of the major
work that was done by Harappan`s
wasthe manufacturing of toys potteries,
ornaments etc.
Harappan has well established trade with
other ancient civilizations that existed during this
era. The Indus cities cities were connected with
rural agricultural communities and distant resource
and mining areas through strong trade systems.
They well knew for the export of potteries,earthen
pots etc.
