MANAGEMENT
 Aims to ensure that ecosystem services are protected and
maintained for future human generations and also maintain
ecosystem integrity through considering ethical , economic and
scientific (ecological) variables.
NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

 Refers to the management of natural resources such as land,


water, soil, plants and animals with a particular focus on how
management affects the quality of life for both present and future
generations.

 Promotes reforestations, reduces


poverty, promotes food security,
creates alternative livelihoods and
enhances climate change
mitigation and adaptation.

NATIONAL ECOSAVER’S PROGRAM

 Children are asked to brig


recyclable wastes in school and
are given points equivalent to
the weight of the recyclable
waste.
o Incentives are in form of cash
or in kind (e.g. school supplies)
WAR ON WASTE (WOW)

 A cleanliness campaign and


aesthetic makeover in schools
by greening the campus.

 Towns, schools, subdivisions,


markets and industrial
establishment are offered
recognition for best practices in
waste management.
