BACKROUND OF STUDY
Clean water is very important for every human
being, specially for those who were living in a place
which has a hot climate. According to doctors ,
approximately 70% of our body mass is made of
water. Drinking a total eight glasses of water a day,
fulfills the necessary requirements of this liquid
that our body demands . Water consumption is
critical metabolism , temperature regulation ,
transporting nutrients , wastes and tissue
maintenance .
 Brgy. Marinas of Sorsogon City is not the only
place in our country who’s suffering from having a safe
drinking water .But it is just one of them in General ,
Philippines is not just the country who were suffering
from lack of safe drinking water .
The main purpose of this research is to give
solutions to eleminate the existing problem . About
having a potable drinking water of Barangay Marinas .
Having a safe drinking water is a worldwide
problem . About 1 to 2 billion peoples are lack of of
safe drinking water , a problem that causes 30,000
deaths eacch week . According to U.N secretary Ban Ki
– Moob of 2010 . More people die from unsafe water
than from a war .
RESEARCH QUESTIONS
1. What are the project of Barangay Marinas that
deals with the solution of the absence of potable
drinking water in the Barangay ?
2. What are the effects of lack of Potable Drinking
Water in Barangay Marinas ?
3. What are the possible reason why Brgy. Marinas ,
still don’t have a Potable Drinking Water ?
4. What are the importance of having a Potable
Drinking Water in the community ?
5. What are the possible solutions to solve this
existing problem ?
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

This study aims to focused on the “Potable

Drinking Water in Barangay Marinas Sorsogon
City : It’s value on health issues “.
The researchers used a survey questionaire
method and answered by 50 respondents of
Barangay Marinas .
This study was started on June 30,2019 and
ended on July 30, 2019 .
DEFINITION OF TERMS
The researchers would like it’s readers to understand this study fully well ,
So they define the following unfamiliar words :

 POTABLE  A liquid that is suitable for drinking

specially an alcoholic beverages .
 HEALTH  The condition of being well or sound in
mind, body or spirit specially freedom
from physical disease or pain.
 RESPONDENTS  a person who gives response or
answered to a question that is asked
specially as part of the survey.
 QUESTIONAIRE  A written set of questions that was
given to people in order to collect facts
or opinions about something .
 POINT OF VIEW  A position on perspective from which
something is considered or evaluated .
 An opinion, attitude that you express
 STATEMENT through the thing that you do , a repeat
or facts or opinions .
