Double Masters Program (DMP):

Business Administration (MBA-Meiji)

• Students enrolled for MEBM with UTM can apply the DMP with
Meiji University, Japan.
• Subject to passing the interview (entrance exam) and approval
from Meiji University (limited number of intake: usually 5-10
students only).
• Only for Malaysian students.
• 3 + 1 years program
• Can obtain 2 Master Degrees simultaneously within 2 years:
– MSc (EBM) awarded by UTM
– MBA awarded by Meiji Uni, Japan.

The Process
1. Fill-up the application form (can be obtained from UTM
Razak School Office or me) including all other required
documents and submit to me personally (Around
October).
2. Interview by Faculty (around Oct)-Mandatory
3. Preparation on the entrance Exam (Interview by Meiji
University through Skype).
4. Official notification of Acceptance in April or earlier.
5. Attending Modules at Meiji University (May-July)
6. Oral Exam (thesis defense) at the end of second year;
usually via Skype.
6. Graduation at Meiji University in March or October.

g) Two Identical Color Photographs (3cm X 4cm)

The Modules
• The students are required to complete 2 major
courses.
a) Core Courses
b) Elective Courses.
• Cross Appointed (Elective A)
• Accredited (Elective B)
Core Courses
• There are 4 modules/subjects and 4 Thesis Seminar
need to be taken.
• For the modules, 1 module will be offered by Meiji in
Japan (during the visit), while the other 3 modules
also offered by Meiji but will be held in UTM.
• One of the modules must be taught by Thesis
Supervisor (Meiji).
Elective Courses
• Students are required to obtain at least 20 credits
(For Meiji System, 1 Subject equivalent to 2 Credit)
from elective A & B.
• Students needs to complete at least minimum of 5
subjects in Elective A while for elective B is a
maximum of 5 subjects.
• Pertaining to elective B, 10 credit points (5 subjects)
can be transferred to Meiji.
• Ensure to complete all electives (module A and B)
while active status as EBM student.

• Need to top-up RM 10K more from EBM fee.


• The total fees MUST be settled before MEBM Graduation.
• Expenses will be borne by students:
a) Return Air tickets.
b) Accommodation in Japan (Probably partly subsidized by Meiji)
c) Technical Visit in Japan (Probably partly subsidized by Meiji)
