have always questioned themselves on why these
things are happening. Participant A stated “wala ko
nagtuo nga ang simbahan nahimong negosyo na
sab karon”. This statement was supported by
Amarillo (2016) that the church should be an
avenue where people can lean on. “Nakuratan ko sa
RESULTS panghitabo, sa una wala mana” was also exclaimed
by Participant B. This validated Chene’s (2019) claim
that a person who has been used to tradition
especially in religions would tend to be
uncomfortable with changes that are inappropriate
despite the church saying that the clergy has needs
too.
