Adjective clause or relative clause is a dependent clause that acts as an
adjective (adjective) which explains noun (noun) or pronoun (pronoun) in the
main clause of a complex sentence (a sentence consisting of an independent
clause and one or more dependent clause).

Main clause (independent clause) + adjective clause
 Adjective clause is formed by a word called relative pronoun. The relative
pronoun consists of: whowhom whose which that indefinite relative pronoun with
suffix -ever: whoever, whomever, and whichever In addition to relative pronouns,
adjective clause can also be formed with relative adverbs.
These adverbs are three, namely:
where
when
why
Adjective clause with where to explain the noun stating the place, with whento
explain the noun stating the time, and with why to explain the noun stating the
reason.

 Relative pronoun (who, which, that) can function as a subject if there is no
subject.
The position of the adjective clause always follows the noun or pronoun it
describes.
The noun or pronoun in the main clause functions as a subject, object, or
subject complement.
