INTRODUCTION

• The population of Barangay 8-Bagumbayan grew from 3,274 in

1990 to 3,400 in 2015, an increase of 126 people. The latest
census figures in 2015 denote a positive growth rate of 1.31%, or
an increase of 225 people, from the previous population of 3,175
in 2010.

Most of the residents living in the community usually has the

Electrical issues – street lights in all purok are prone to damage

because of the following:
1. Each lamp in every post was needed to be operated
individually
2. Each lap was within the reach of the people that may
cause in higher tendency of robbery.
3. Lack of knowledge about what kind of bulb could be used
outdoor.
Barangay 8-Bagumbayan(Poblacion) Legazpi City, Albay has their
street lights, however the street lights were all old model. This kind
of model of street lights have low elevated posts, and detachable
light bulbs, in which this type of street lights are prone to theft.
Many light bulbs from street lights went missing
In our proposed project, modernization of street lights in Barangay
8-Bagumbayan(Poblacion) Legazpi City, Albay, was intended to
modernized the street lights in the said barangay. The modern
model of street lights have an intact light bulb and were sealed
thoroughly, and also have a high elevated lamp post. In this features
