KEY PLAN In 1901, the construction of port Swettenham (also known as


Port klang) is completed than Klang remains as a big outlet
of Selangor tins and mines. Then, the completion of Klang
Valley railway had stimulated the function of Klang itself.
So, Klang is one of the the greatest industrial sites due to
the mines and port.

Klang also known as royal city because there was the palace
and a royal town located in Klang. Klang also had been known
as former capital state of Selangor from 1875-1880 than it
moves to Kuala Lumpur.Klang gain a status of the royal city
under the conference of the ruler (Majlis Raja-Raja or
DURBAR). The council comprise of nine ruler of Malay state.

The proposed area located on the South part of Klang which is


divided into BP4 category. The size of the study area covered
by 126 hectares and under the jurisdiction of Klang Municipal
Council (MPK). Most of study area is zoning as public
