Millennium Development
Goals (MDGs) are eight goals with
measurable targets and clear deadlines
for improving the lives of the world's
poorest people.

half since 2000.
2.In Combodia, it had decreased by 60%
3.Rwanda has recorded a 10% average
annual reduction since 2000, one of the
fastest declines in history
4.China has seen a significant decrease in
child deaths due to the expanded global
emphasis on health.

These may not seem
comprehensive but they could
bring gains in well-being of
millions of people.

(Tobacco regulation act of 2003)
The first comprehensive national
legistration on tobacco control.
1.Promotion of a healthful environment.
2.Dissemination of information regarding
the health risks associated with tobacco
use.
3.Regulation and subsequent ban of all
tobacco advertisements and sponsorship.
4.Regulation of the labeling of tobacco
products.
5.Protection of the youth.
GLOBAL MENTAL HEALTH ACTION PLAN
These groups can receive information
about different types of mental
health problems, their effects on
individuals, and how to effectively
assist and support people with mental
disorder.

with member states, with appropriate
