Research Question:

What are the determinants of Low Fully

Immunized Child (FIC) Coverage (below 95%)
among children below 1-year-old in Cagayan
Valley?
General Objective:

To identify the determinants of low fully

immunized child coverage (below 95%) in
Cagayan Valley.
Specific Objectives:

To identify which of the vaccines (BCG, Hepa B,

Penta 1, Penta 2, Penta 3, OPV1, OPV2, IPV, MMR)
are commonly missed or not availed.

To determine the factors contributing to the low fully

immunized coverage among children below 1-year-
old.
FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH SUICIDE
IDEATION AMONG YOUNG ADULTS IN
CAGAYAN VALLEY
Research Question:

What are the factors associated with suicidal

ideation among young adults in Cagayan Valley?
What is the magnitude of suicidal ideation
among young adults in Cagayan Valley?
How prevalent are suicide ideation among
young adults in Cagayan Valley?
General Objective:

To determine the prevalence of suicidal ideation

among young adults in Cagayan Valley.
Specific Objectives:
1.To determine the prevalence of suicidal ideation
stratified according to:
a.Age group
b.Sex
c.Geographic area
d.Marital Status
e.Barangay Stratum
2.To identify factors associated with suicidal
ideation among the target population
3.To analyze potential interactions among identified
factors associated with suicidal ideation
Scope of Work
1.Closely coordinate with the DOH regional office to improve the soundness and
feasibility of the study objectives
2.Develop the research design and methodology, including data collection tools.
Proposed research design is a combination of a cross sectional survey and
qualitative data collection (i.e. focus groups)
3.Obtain ethics committee approval for the study
4.Mobilize a team of consultants and enumerators who shall conduct the study
across Cagayan Valley
5.develop data encoding tool to be used in the study; carry out data encoding and
data cleaning techniques
Scope of Work
6.Analyze collected data and develop a manuscript
7.Provide updates during the preparatory, formative, and final stages of the study
before the Technical working group of DOH regional office of Cagayan Valley.

The client shall be responsible for the following:

1.Organize consultative meetings during the formative and final stages of the
study
2.Provide technical inputs during consultative meetings
3.Approve the study protocol, data collection tools, and sampling sites.

Research Question:

What are the determinants for the low total

population donating blood in the 6 municipalities
in the Province of Quirino?
General Objective:

To determine the factors affecting the population

donating blood in the Province of Quirino.
Specific Objectives:
1. To assess awareness of the people in Quirino Province.
2. To determine facilitating factor/s affecting blood donation.

years of experience in conducting research, particularly in Public Health
2.With at least two years in conducting research or evaluation studies
