Use of Alternative source of Power

• Use alternative source of power such as solar and

wind energy. Those alternative source of energy are bio
friendly because they do not produce harmful gases that
damage the ozone layer compared to burning fossil such
as coal and charcoal.
Plant more trees to prevent soil erosion

• This entails planting trees and vegetation to control

soil erosion caused by wind and water. Trees
andvegetation are essential in the maintainance of the
ecosystem. They also act as home for most insets, birds
and some symbiotic plants. This create a habitat for
wildlife.
Practicing judicious ways to conserve water

• Taking less time in ge shower aids to consrve gallons

of water per month. Reusing water for watering the
garden.
Growing vegetation in catchment area

Catchment area act as a source of water that flow in

the stream, river and ocean. Vegetation in the catchment
area allows for sufficient percolation of water in the deep
soil layers allowing in the formation of ground water.
Treatment of industrial waste and sewages

• Rapid industrialization has resulted to wastes that are

harmful to the ecosystem. The release of these harmful
waste directly to the bodies of water has led to massive
water pollution to some areas in the world especially in
developing countries. Therfore this waste must be treated
to prevent thermal and chemical pollution.
Rain harversting

• This is one of water conservation. It is better done by

harvesting of rainwater during weather seasons of the
year. Those water that is being conserve can be use
especially during dry season.
Practice site on conservation of wildlife

• This implies that coservation of animals and plants in

their natural habitat. It is also involve in protecting the
proteced areas set aside.
Practice judicious ways on conserving energy

• It includes switching off the ligths when not in use.

Unplugging electrical appliances.
Use of bio-fuels

• Fossil fuels are depleting nowdays, this calls for

alternative source of fuel such as bio-fuels from plant
species.
Use the earth's bag instead of plastic bags

• When we re going to buy something in the department

store or in the market, we have to use the earth's bag
because it is biodegradable compared to plastic bags.
