The End
Rationale of the
Agreement
To intensify the promotion and advocacy of the
Philippine Quality Award (PQA) and Philippine
Quality Challenge (PQC) programs.

The DTI – Competitiveness Bureau looked for an


educational institution to partner with for a project in
creating promotional ads for both PQA & PQC.
Being one of the recipient of the PQA
Level 1 Recognition for Commitment to
Quality Management and having known to
have a very active Mass Communication
and Digital Arts Students, the Colegio de
San Juan de Letran – Manila was
identified by DTI – Competitiveness
Bureau to become its partner.
After the proposal, concept paper and coordination meeting
between DTI – CB and Letran – Manila officials, the
“QUALITYLYMPICS” was conceptualized.

Project Description

Qualitylympics
is a multimedia contest among Mass
Communication and Digital Arts students developed
and organized by the Department of Trade and
Industry - Competitiveness Bureau in partnership
with the Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Manila

“QUALITYLYMPICS”
Objectives

Promote the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) and Philippine


Quality Challenge (PQC) program by tapping the interest and
creativity of the students through the creation of 4 different types
of advertising materials such as:
1. Audio Visual Presentation (PQC)
2. Audio Visual Presentation (Assessors)
3. Print Ad (PQA|PQC)
4. TVC/Animated Infographics (PQA)
Requirements
All entries must be completely original and not utilize content owned
by another copyright holder unless the entrant has been granted
specific usage rights. If a student project is selected and
documentation of specific usage rights cannot be supplied, the
project will be disqualified.

DTI-CB and Letran-Manila will not be


liable for any copyright infringement
on the part of the entrant, and will not
become involved in copyright
disputes.
Guidelines for AVP (PQC)

 It must be able to connect to its target audience such as


the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Local
Government Units (LGUs).

 It should showcase the benefits of the program

 Maximum of 5minutes per entry


Guidelines for AVP (Assessor)

 It should showcase the caliber of the trained Assessors

who partake in the assessment.

 It should showcase the benefits of being an Assessor

 Maximum of 2 minutes per entry


Guidelines for Print Ad (PQA | PQC)

 It must interpret and sell the PQA | PQC program


through visual illustration

 It must be printed in A3 size paper placed in ½


illustration board.
Guidelines for Animated Infographics (PQA)

 The information is represented accurately and communicated


clearly. Sources for additional information should be included in
the credits (original sources whenever possible).

 Story/layout must be engaging and insightful, helping to pull the


viewer through animated infographic illustration.

 Maximum of 2 minutes per entry
