INTRODUCTION
 PDF CRACK is a pdf-password cracking tool
 PDF CRACK can detect passwords of any length.
 It can easily detect simple passwords upto 3 or 4
length.
 For more complex passwords, It will take a longer time.
Features
 Supports the standard security handler (revision 2, 3
and 4) on all known PDF-versions.
 Supports cracking both owner and user passwords.
 Both wordlists and bruteforcing the password is
supported.
USAGE
 1. PDFCRACK is readily available from most Linux
distros’ main repositories. On Debian (and so Ubuntu)
derivatives, you can install it with
sudo apt-get install pdfcrack
 To crack the password of a PDF file
pdfcrack –f filename.pdf
Options
 -b : bench
Perform benchmark and exit.
 -m : maxpw=INTEGER
Stop when reaching INTEGER as password length.
 -n : minpw=INTEGER
Skip trying passwords shorter than INTEGER.
INSTALLATION

WARNING
 Don't use pdfcrack to illegal actions, as crack personal
passwords from another people.
 The local laws must be observed when installing and
using this program.
Conclusion
 With PDF CRACK we can easily detect simple
passwords upto length 3 or 4 within 1 or 2 seconds.
 It runs on 1 core so not much of specification is
required for it.
 It cannot be used to alter any permissions to pdf but
simply to crack passwords.
 So whether you forgot or mistyped your password, It
have got you covered.
