 Exposition
• A man who was
having his breakfast
saw a unicorn eating
roses in his garden.
• He was so excited
seeing a unicorn
that he immediately

woke his wife up
from slumber.
 Rising Action
• The wife did not believe the man and went back to
sleep.
• The man went out to get closer to the unicorn. He
offered the unicorn a lily from his garden, which the
unicorn ate with fervour.
• Exhilarated, the man once again roused his wife from
slumber and told her about the unicorn eating the lily
that he offered the mystical beast.

• His wife thought that he had lost his marbles and
needed to be placed into a mental institution
• As soon as the husband went out, the wife immediately
phoned the police department and a psychiatrist.
• When the police and psychiatrist came to their home,
the wife told them that her husband saw a unicorn in
their garden.
 Climax
• The husband denied the
wife’s accusations and
instead turned the tables
around by declaring that
‘The unicorn is a mythical
beast’
• The police seized the wife
at the psychiatrist’s
solemn signal, and the
wife was confined into a

 Falling Action & Resolution
• The police and psychiatrist took her away
screaming and cursing, and shut her up in a
mental institution.
• The husband lived happily ever after.
