The Chairman of the non-profit organisation focused on empowering women around the world,
called The Circle NGO. She is passionate about various issues that affect women’s rights and
hopes to empower women and girls globally.
Invited to share about the background and history of fast fashion, as well as to lead the
discussion and act as a mediator between the attendees.

Environmentalist: Dr. Siti Sara Hanis

Age: 45
The Chief Scientist of the UN Environment and Director of the Science Division. Graduated Yale
with a Bachelors in Environmental Health and a PhD in ENvironmental Science, she is a
qualified researcher in her field.
Invited to explain and point out the detrimental effects of fast fashion on the environment.

Professor: Dr. Mimi Badrishah

Age: 52
The Vice President of Anti Slavery Organisation, which is a human rights organisation working
to free people from all forms of slavery across the world. She is an advocate for the fair
treatment of workers and has spent most of her life campaigning for worker rights. Invited to
highlight and visualise the ethical issues in fast fashion.
