HOUSE SEWER

drainage systems, which
starts from the outer face of
the building and terminate
at the main sewer in the
street or septic tank.
MAIN SEWER
LINE
-Is a large diameter pipe
that carries waste from
every sink, toilet, and
shower in your home,
through branch.
-Financed and maintained

Secure permits from the sewerage authority.

Verify the depth of the house drain outlet. GENERAL


Determine the depth of the connection with main sewer in
the street and the grade of the house sewer.
CONDITIONS
The depth is found by measuring the length of the longest
branch of the house drain multiplied by the pre-planned

Verify the depth of the connection to be made with the main
sewer. Remove the manhole cover on both ends. Measure
the depth using a meter tape of stick.
The grade of the house sewer could be found through the
difference between the House Sewer and the depth of the
Main Sewer. A leveling instrument will give satisfactory
result.
