 Introduction of the system
• In our system online airline booking system users or
customers can book seat or book flight from any place in
the world as long as they are connected to internet. The
Innovation of technology has made traveling in the air
easier for customers with airline reservation or booking
just a click away.
• The developed system will facilitate online booking; keep
customer records, provides an online menu on flight
schedules, flight destinations and their prices, show
alternative links to other partner airlines and will have
page dedicated to customer queries and replies

• User can easily book, confirm or cancel ticket using this

system. The system will appear very less loading time.
This system will implement as totally error free. This
system is benefited for both user and authorization. No
additional requirement is needed for access this system.
 Objectives
Objectives of the system are listed below
•To create a distributed system that will be used by customers or
passengers.
•To ensure that ticket reservation or booking is easy and user friendly
for customers.
•To satisfy customers need by reaching them at their place
•Reduce the work load of the ticket officers.
•Provide large number of ticket reservation and cancelation service in a
few times.
•To design an online airline reservation information system to facilitate
online booking and flight scheduling

System Requirement

• Online Airline Reservation System will hold flight schedules and its
fare tariffs, passenger reservations and ticket records. It saves time
as it allows online procedure as users no longer to wait in a queue
to book the flights. It is automatically generated by the server.
Admin is the main authority who can do addition, deletion, and
modification of flights if required. The project has been planned to
be having the view of distributed architecture, with centralized
storage of the database. The application for the storage of the data
has been planned. Using the constructs of Database MySQL and all
the user interfaces have been designed using the Adobe
Dreamweaver technologies.

placed into this category.
 Disadvantage of Existing
System
• Manually goes to the Airport and book his ticket.
• Downloading the ticket form as paper document, filling it
manually and submitting it at Airport.
• Fill the Ticket form on system and get the print out as
paper documents to submit it at Airport.
• Less Security.
Advantages proposed system

• User friendliness provided in the application with various

controls.
• The system makes the overall project management
much easier and flexible.
• It provides high level of security with different level of
authentication.
