INTRODUCTION

There are many renewable technologies such as solar power that

use sunlight as a primary source.
The main goal of this project is about to design and develop a solar
tracker that can harvest the radiation of the sun energy.
Solar tracker is invented to make the solar panel move towards to
sunlight.
PROBLEM STATEMENT

1. Traditional fixed solar panel.

 Unable to harvest the maximum solar energy of the sun because of
different position in azimuth and elevation of the sun at daytime.
2. Maximize the energy harvest time.
 The cloud is blocking the solar panel. The harvest of solar energy is
depending on the amount of light projected on the cell.
3. Limitation of Automation.
 This automation is important to reduce the losses of radiation and
conversion the ray of the sun.
OBJECTIVE
 To develop a moving solar
panel.

 To develop a system that

efficiently track the maximum
possible ray of the sun's during
daytime.

 To integrate tracking solar

system with moving solar
system.
SCOPE

PROJECT SCOPE
Constantly tracking the ray of sun during daytime.
Control and monitor the movement of solar panel based on the
intensity of the light using battery.
Maximize the solar panel power efficiency and output power.

USER SCOPE
HOUSING
Every single house that used this product will be able to get
backup electricity power that is ready to use (battery).

LITERATURE REVIEW

According to the Tiberiu Tudorache [2012], U.P.B. Sci. Bull, Vol.74, ISSN
11454-234 discussed the performance of a single axis solar tracking solar
panel designed and executed by University Politehnica of Bucharest in
cooperation with Techno of International.
S.B Elagib et al. (2013) in a journal titled ‘Design and implementation of dual
axis solar tracker based on solar maps’ shown that using stepper motor
mechanism is an automatic device that uses error sensing feedback to correct
the performance of the mechanism. S.B Elagib et al. (2013).
M.Amir Abas et al. (2010) in a journal titled ‘Improved structure of solar
tracker with microcontroller-based control’. The used of stepper motor can be
considerably not heavy to the force the shaft at the motor.
DIFFERENT PRODUCT THAN ALREADY EXISTS

 Our solar panels operate in cloudy weather and produce 10

until 15% of output.
 Our solar panel can detect 180 degrees of ray of the sun
during daytime.
 Our product security features is on the Arduino pin, where it
is fixed to its own volt pin.
CONCLUSIONS

The developers ensure that the solar tracker is easy to use.

Users no need to spend times adjusts the solar tracking and its
helps maximize the energy gains during peak time periods.

This solar tracker was conventional used. It helps users gets

better in efficiency compared to the fixed solar panel.
