ROOM CLASIFICATION

A. ROOM TYPE BASED ON THE LOCATION
1. Connecting Rooms
Rooms with individual entrance doors from the outside and a
connecting door between (guest can move between rooms
without going trough the hallway)
2. Adjoining Rooms
Rooms with a common wall but no connecting door. Hotel
rooms which are next to each other but, unlioke connecting
rooms; side to side rooms.
3. Adjacent Rooms
Rooms close to each other, perhaps across the hall, face to
face room.
4. Duplex
Two rooms or more located up stairs and down stairs
connected by stairs case.
5. Cabana
Rooms face to the beach or swimming pool; located
separately to the mian building of the hotel.

6. Lanais
Rooms with balcony facing to the pool or garden.
7. Out Side Rooms
Rooms face the street ( city view)
8. Inside Rooms
Rooms facing the back side of the hotel.
9. End Floor
Rooms located at the end of the corridor/building; usually
have strategic location; used for suite room.
A. ROOM TYPE BASED ON BEDDING CONFIGURATION
1. Single Room
A room assigned for one person completed with one single
bed.
2. Double Room
A room assigned to two people
3. Twin Rooms
A room with two twin beds; has two single beds separated
by a centre table. It may be occupied by one or more people.
4. Double- double bed Rooms
A room with two double bed ( or perhaps queen) beds. It may
be occupied by one or more persons.
5. Triple Rooms
A room assigned to three people
6. Suite rooms
a room comprises of two or more bedroom, a living room,
and a dinning area.
